This week's Set of the Week comes from none other than Richie Hawtin. He performed an energetic set at this year's opening of the Amsterdam Dance Event 2017.
Richie Hawtin creates a unique techno sound, inspired by Detroit, its culture and characterized by electronically minimalist sounds that are danceable. Again and again one hears influences from acid house and electronic beats, which are created with the well-known Roland TB-303, among other things. Today he is considered one of the stars in the techno scene and travels through the club landscape throughout Europe.
